On October 24, 2024, at the 27th Slovenian Film Festival held in Portorož, a short animated film entitled Jump into the Future was premiered. The story of the film Jump into the Future is based on the comic of the same name by Miki Muster, which Muster drew in 1971 and in which he was far ahead of others in pointing out the problems of environmental, air and drinking water pollution. The heroes of the film (Trickster, Hardie and Hungerly) venture into the future, where they discover the causes of pollution in the present and fight for a better world. Two researchers from the UP FAMNIT Department of Information Sciences and Technologies participated in the creation of the film: Assoc. prof. dr. Klen Čopič Pucihar participated as co-producer and administrator of the motion capture system, asst. dr. And Anuradhi Maheshya W. Weerasinghe Arachchillage as motion capture assistant. The collaboration of researchers took place within the framework of the HICUP Lab (Laboratory for Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Primorska).
